These are your tasks

As Head of Engineering (m/f/d), you will lead our development team and ensure the scalability and quality of our solution. This means in detail:

• You will lead our development team (backend, frontend, QA and fullstack), continue to expand the team and drive the culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• You will bring our product roadmap to realization by defining requirements in collaboration with our Head of Product and ensuring that products and features are developed on time and in high quality.
• You will monitor software performance, identify potential issues and ensure that our software meets security and compliance requirements.
• You ensure smooth scaling by implementing software development practices and processes, as well as relevant metrics.
• You foster open communication and collaboration with other teams, such as our Customer Success and Sales teams.

What you bring

• You have at least 10 years of experience in software development, preferably in a SaaS company.
• You have already led a team (ideally with more than 50 employees) in a growing, international software environment.
• You have experience in implementing agile development methods (Scrum, SAFe).
• You have solid technical skills in software development (Ruby on Rails, Ruby, Angular), architecture and design.
• You have excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English. German language skills are an advantage.
